What we collect, and why.

Last updated: August 12, 2026 · This is a starting draft, not reviewed by an attorney yet — see the note at the bottom.

What we collect

Right now, this site collects two things: the email address you submit through the waitlist form, and the name, email, and message you submit through the contact form. We don't currently use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies anywhere on this site.

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts' servers to display the site's typefaces. Loading them means your device requests those files directly from Google, which — like any web request — shares your IP address with Google as part of that request. We don't control what Google does with that beyond serving the font file.

Why we collect it

Waitlist emails are used for exactly one thing: to email you when Setpoint Nightly is available to buy. Contact form submissions are used to respond to your question or message. We don't use either for advertising, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are collected and stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. We access them through Netlify's dashboard. We haven't connected any separate mailing-list or CRM tool yet — if that changes, this page will be updated to say so before it happens.

Your choices

Want off the waitlist, or want your information deleted? Email us through the contact page and we'll remove it. If you're in a location with specific data rights (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), those rights apply here too — reach out the same way and we'll honor the request.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes — for example, once we launch and start processing real orders — this page will be updated first, and the "last updated" date above will change.

This is a functional first draft based on what the site actually does today, written to be accurate rather than generic boilerplate — but it hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer. Worth bundling into the same regulatory attorney conversation already planned for the product claims, especially before real orders (and real customer data beyond an email address) start flowing through the site.
